For Flight Training, our courses are recognised by all the major Civil Aviation Authorities in the world and allows an end-to-end approach, from Ab-Initio training, to ops, trainer, and Examiner courses. The Airbus Training Centers leverage the latest technologies in training simulation to deliver these courses. At a global level, Airbus has pioneered the methodical implementation of the Competence Based Training and Assessment concepts in the past years, offering a strong guarantee of the highest standards of quality to its customers.
The approach to maintenance and structure training is similar to that of the flight program. It includes various courses that cover different stages of maintenance operations. A key component is the Airbus Competence Trainer (ACT), an all-in-one solution designed to help airlines and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) organizations to manage their initial and recurrent training needs.
Airbus is committed to expanding its regional presence to better support its customers. Recent examples include the inauguration of a second A320 Full-Flight Simulator in Santiago and the development of a new Airline Transport Pilot/Certification Training Program (ATP/CTP). The ATP/CTP is a mandatory Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) course for pilots seeking an Airline Transport Pilot certificate. The course aims to bridge the knowledge gap between a commercial pilot’s license and the more rigorous demands of an airline environment.
