A321neo continues to impress

JetBlue receives A321LR with first Airspace interior

In April 2021, JetBlue took delivery of its first of 13 A321LR aircraft featuring Airbus’ new Airspace interior. The award-winning cabin design-language and passenger-pleasing cabin features will also be deployed to JetBlue A321neo fleet to enter in service in the coming years.

The new Airspace interior of the single-aisle family is consistent with Airspace cabins of Airbus’ A330neo and A350 Widebody aircraft and is articulated around four pillars:

- Inspiring space: featuring the Airspace ambience for a unique welcome experience, the new entrance area leads the passenger to the cabin which offers the latest lighting technologies and a customizable iconic ceiling.

Relaxing space: The Airbus Single-Aisle family already benefits from the most comfortable experience and a flexible seating capability. Combined with the Airspace XL bins which offer up to 60 percent more bags, and a new window design, the Airspace comfort brings a new relaxing experience from gate to gate.

Living space: new Airspace Services bring new lavatories with enhanced passenger experience, cleanliness and hygiene. The new services are composed of ambient lighting and sound, aroma dispenser, antimicrobial surfaces and touchless features.

Beautiful space: the Airspace design is now consistent between the Airbus Single-Aisle and Widebody aircraft with a real family feel thanks to signature details and an award winning design.

With an increased range of up to 4,000nm, the A321LR is the unrivalled long-range route opener thanks to unmatched economics and its premium wide-body comfort in a single aisle-aircraft cabin, now enhanced by the new Airspace interior.
