A cost effective solution simplifying aircraft fleet operations

In an increasing challenging environment, operators’ success depends on their ability to adapt and innovate.

Through Airbus Flight Hour Services (FHS), Airbus can deliver a customized approach dedicated to designing and provisioning integrated spares and maintenance solutions, while delivering aircraft availability and on-time fleet performance.

FHS incorporates a comprehensive platform of solutions ranging from spare parts services and components’ repairs to configuration management, reliability optimization, airframe maintenance, fleet engineering solutions and information systems.

Going from FHS to a Tailored Support Package
Delegating spares and inventory management presents the opportunity to move assets off the customer books, reduce spare-associated costs, maintain customer satisfaction, leverage world-class capabilities and redistribute risks.

Customized packages provide customers guaranteed components availability and components maintenance. Based upon Airbus inventories and engineering expertise, FHS provides investment-free options and guaranteed components services driven by productivity and continuous enhancement.

Customers gain access to LRU and major components’ inventories through guaranteed ‘on-site stock’ and unlimited access to the worldwide pool. Additionally, customers only pay for the services they need and when they need them, this means the operators no longer needs to invest in spare parts or manage component repairs.

When greater attention to service is required, Airbus is able to propose Airbus Flight Hours – Tailored Support Package (TSP), a long-term service that combines spares, maintenance and engineering-related services, at a predictable cost and with various degrees of performance guarantees. Going beyond a ‘keep-it-up-and-running’ approach, this package is designed to drive the customer’s on-time performance and improve fleet technical dispatch reliability. Airbus streamlines synergies to ensure the aircraft is ready for daily flights. Through TSP, Airbus aims at achieving fewer operational interruptions, additional aircraft flight hours and a substantial reduction in direct and indirect costs.

Next Generation Fleet
The FHS-TSP is particularly suited for new aircraft type acquisitions. Several A350 customers have identified it as a means to secure financial and operational exposure, while driving maximum performance and technical dispatch of a new aircraft, from its entry-into-service and beyond.
